Nomdix configuration guide
Login to your Nomadix Access Gateway
On the left, under Configuration, choose AAA. Configure with the following:
- AAA Services: Enable (ticked)
- Internal Web Server: Enabled (ticked)
- SSL Support: Disabled (unticked)
- Encrype only Sensitive Data: Disabled (unticked)
- Portal Page: Enable (ticked)
- Portal Page URL: *insert access_url here*
- Parameter Passing: Enable (ticked)
- Parameter Signing Method: None
- Parameter Signing Parameters: Enable (tick) the following: UI, MA, PORT, SIP
- Usernames: Enable (ticked)
- New Subscribers: Disable (unticked)
- Credit Card Service: Disabled (unticked)
Click Submit to Save
Region Specific Access URL's
Next, on the left choose RADIUS Proxy. On this page, click the link at the bottom named Click here to configure RADIUS service profiles.
Under RADIUS Service Profiles click the Add button. Configure with:
- Name: guestwifi
- Enable RADIUS Authentication Service: Enabled (ticked)
- Protocol: PAP
- Primary IP/DNS: *insert radius_server here* / Port: 1812 / Secret Key: *insert radius_secret here*
- Primary IP/DNS: *insert radius_server2 here* / Port: 1812 / Secret Key: *insert radius_secret here*
- Enable RADIUS Accounting Service: Enabled (ticked)
- Primary IP/DNS: *insert radius_server here* / Port: 1813 / Secret Key: *insert radius_secret here*
- Primary IP/DNS: *insert radius_server2 here* / Port: 1813 / Secret Key: *insert radius_secret here*
- Retransmission Delay: 3 (seconds)
- Retransmission Attempts: 5 (per server)
Click Submit to Save and the page will refresh.
Region Specific Radius Servers
Next, on the left choose RADIUS Client. Configure with:
- Default RADIUS Mode: Fixed
- Default RADIUS Service Profile: guestwifi
- Default User Idle Timeout: 3600 (seconds)
- Send NAS Idenitfier: Enabled (ticked)
- Send NAS IP: Enabled (ticked)
- Send Framed IP: Enabled (ticked)
Click Submit to Save
Next, on the left choose Passthrough Addresses. Configure with:
- Passthrough Addresses: Enable (ticked)
Click Submit to Save.
Finally, you need to add the below passthrough entries one by one until you have them all listed.
