Punch Activation Process
The following process shows how to activate a new Captini Punch to a customers dashboard account.
The following devices are required to complete an activation:
Device 1- Laptop or desktop computer with access to Captini dashboard.
Device 2 - A touch screen smartphone or tablet device.
Device 3 - At least one new Captini Punch.
Dashboard Instructions
Select Captini Punch from the Marketing menu on the main navigation bar.
Once the page click the Add Punch tab as indicated below:
On clicking the tab the Add Punch wizard will appear. Simply give the punch a name or description and select the venue where the Captini Punch will be used.
On completing the above screen the Activate Punch screen will appear. Shown will be a 4-digit pin and instructions to use a mobile devices browser to goto the activation portal.
On pointing your mobile browser to the url shown in screenshot above. The Push Activator screen will be displayed on your mobile device. Simply enter the pin code shown on the Captini Dashboard screen in the boxes shown below:
On entering the 4-digit code the screen will automatically refresh and show the Stamp screen below. Stamp the screen with Captini Punch you would like to activate.
On stamping the screen the Captini activation portal will verify and activate the Captini Punch. Once complete the screen will refresh and confirm the process has been completed/
Simultaneously the Dashboard screen will automatically refresh and confirm the activation process has been completed. The new Punch will then be listed on the Active Punch's.
